Event Description
February is National Heart Health Month! Join me for tea and a presention given by Melissa A. Herd from the Philadelphia regional office of The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid.
Each year heart disease and strokes are two leading causes of death in the United States. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is working with the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services on the Million Hearts Campaign that was launched in 2011 to prevent 1 Million Heart Attacks over 5 years.
