Event Description

August 14th

Connie Simon, Worship Leader      Worship Associate:  Lisa Schilansky

In the 1880s, the formerly all-male, all-white Unitarian ministry was shaken up by the arrival of the Prophetic Sisterhood, a group of women ministers in the western U.S.  Since then, people of color and LGBTQ leaders have joined the ranks of those speaking for our movement – not just in churches, but in communities and businesses as well.   Join Connie Simon as we discuss new voices in our movement and how they’re changing the way we worship and promote social justice in this post-denominational age.
