First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia ~ Welcome home!

Chestnut Street Singers present "Ahoy, Stranger! Music of Travel and Adventure"

Ahoy, Stranger! Music of Travel and Adventure

Sunday, June 2 at 5 PM at the First Unitarian Church

Join the Chestnut Street Singers, the church's ensemble-in-residence, for the final concert of their 2012–2013 season. To conclude this year of encounters with forces outside ourselves, we'll feature music that considers both our reasons for exploration and the experiences we bring home. The concert includes works by Robert Schumann (1810–1856), Zoltán Kodály (1882–1967), Robert Shaw (1916–1999) and Alice Parker (1925–), and Philadelphia’s own David Ludwig (1974–).

We’ll be celebrating the end of the season by dining around the corner at Erawan after the concert. Email chestnutstreetsingers@gmail.com to reserve your seat.
