First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia ~ Welcome home!

The Mindfulness Practice Group of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Annapolis is hosting a Day of Mindfulness with Non-Violent Communication  at UUCA on Sat. Oct. 13, 9:30-4:00. The Day will be led by Barbra Esher, aspirant in Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing and a Nonviolent Communication certification candidate.

The recommended donation is $40 or $20 for student/underemployed.  No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Participants should also: wear comfortable clothing including shoes permitting walking outside on comfortable surfaces and bring a blanket or mat for being on the floor and a vegetarian dish to share. Chairs and some cushions will be supplied for sitting meditation; participants may bring their own cushions. Participants should also briefly write down a recent interaction you did not enjoy which still brings up emotions.

We encourage you to pre-register at www.mpg-annapolis.org so that we know how many people to set up for. Information may be obtained by sending e-mail from that website or by calling 410-268-9639
