Meditation with Curt Woolford, MA, E-RYT

 

Enjoy deep peace and relaxation as you meditate in community with others.

 

When:  Sunday mornings

Time:   10:15 – 10:45

Where: Chapel  

 

Benefits

Research has shown that adults who have meditated regularly for five years have a biological age that is 15 years younger then non-meditators of the same chronological age.  Meditation is a proven technique that reduces stress, slows the aging process, and improves immune function.

 

Meditation techniques

A variety of meditation techniques will be introduced and explored each week, including:

  • Mantra
  • Mindfulness (Zen)
  • Insight (Vipassana)
  • Kriya

 

About Curt Woolford MA, ERYT

Curt began his personal mediation practice over 20 years ago and has been teaching yoga and meditation for 12+ years. He is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. With degrees in Philosophy and Educational Psychology, Curt brings a deep awareness of the learning process to his yoga and meditation instruction.
