Dolce Suono Offers Complimentary Tickets to First Church Members
Dolce Suono presents concerts in Philadelphia and throughout the region, and forms educational outreach partnerships with Philadelphia public schools. Dolce Suono's engaging programming encompasses Baroque to contemporary music, and its active commissioning program has led to 14 world premieres in 5 seasons. Dolce Suono cordially invites First Unitarian Church members to attend our concerts at the church as our guests. Please email Dolce Suono up to two days prior to each concert at the church to reserve your complimentary tickets. The first home event of the fall season will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 7:30 p.m. in our sanctuary and features the music of Handel.

Do you like to sing?

If the answer if "yes," you should consider singing with the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia Choir! The choir rehearses weekly in the church sanctuary.

From September through June, the choir meets every Thursday evening from 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m., and on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m., prior to our 11:00 a.m. service.

In our summer months, the choir meets at 9:00 a.m.

The choir sings a very vast repertoire, spanning from motets and classical masses to a variety of contemporary world music. If you're curious, come and check us out!

Do you play an instrument or have other musical talents?

We would love to incorporate your gifts into our music ministry. If you are interested in playing solo or smaller chamber works as part of the worship service, please contact Jen Hayman, Music Director, at jen[AT]philauu.org.
