First Church continues several annual traditions in fundraising, including our world-class rummage sale, our live and silent goods and services auction, benefit concerts and more. We invite you to keep an eye out here at this page for updates about upcoming First Church fundraisers.

'Tis time once again for the First Church Auction, Saturday, March 20, 7 PM!
This year's auction will feature delectable appetizers and desserts, a fabulous signature cocktail, wine and beer. Items to be featured in the auction can include fun activities like dinners and picnics, gift certificates to restaurants and attractions, or services like rides to the airport or babysitting and much, much more. Tickets for the auction are $15 and can be purchased after church throughout the month of February and March. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20. The auction is a major fundraiser and generates much needed funds which are directed solely to programs benefitting all members and friends. Please give generously and plan to attend.
Pledge Campaign for the 2010-11 Church Year
All of the dollars contributed by the congregation are used to pay for church related staff time, church administrative expenses, and programs such as social justice, religious education and music, among others. All of this needs the congregation to support it through its pledges. Our building tenants pay for tenant related staff time and all building expenses including utilities, maintenance, and repairs. As a result the congregation does not pay anything for the use of the building. This year we are not planning the usual pledge campaign where someone will call on you for a pledge commitment. And we are not asking you to call on someone else to ask for their pledge. We are asking for each of you to call upon yourself, to look within yourself, and support your teams efforts to submit 100% of the confidential pledge cards to your team leader by Sat, March 20, the night of the annual auction. Each of you has a pledge card in your packet of information which you can complete in confidence.
We are counting on each team to return all of the team's cards
so that we will know how to budget for the next church year.
