Welcome!

Please join us for our diverse worship services, which begin at 11 am in the historic sanctuary. We also host meditation services in the chapel (enter via Van Pelt S. entrance) starting at 10:15 am. The dress of the participants reflect the diversity of our community: some dress up, others are students, or on-the-go parents who are casually dressed. Come as you are and know that you'll be accepted.

Unitarian Universalism & You

Would you like an orientation to Unitarian Universalism and would like to know how to become a member of the First Church Family? If so, drop-in for a free brunch on Sundays Sep 11, Oct 2, Nov 6, Dec 4, 2011 and Jan 8, 2012

Participants will gather to learn more about the history of the Unitarian Universalist movement, our shared values and beliefs, and the membership process. For those who are interested in joining, we hold New Member Ceremonies on the third Sundays of each month. For details contact Membership Ministry Team Lucia Kubik.

Newcomer's Corner

Meanwhile, following each and every Sunday service, we invite newcomers to stop by the Newcomer Corner for refreshments and conversation. It is located at the round table in the southwest corner of the Sanctuary, near the Chestnut Street entrance. If you are interested in learning more about Unitarian Universalism please join us for the following orientation.

Architectural Tours

Meet at the back of the Sanctuary immediately following the morning service for a half-hour tour of our landmark building. Learn about First Church's architecture, stained glass, and building use throughout its history. These are hosted at least once a month.

Membership

After attending UU & You, you are invited to participate in the New Member Ceremony, which is held on the third Sunday of the month (September–June) during the morning worship. Confirm your participation by contacting our minister, Reverend Nate Walker.
