Safe Congregation Policy
We, the members of the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, recognize, with sadness, the reality that our children and young people are vulnerable to the outrage of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse.
As a community dedicated to preserving the inherent worth and dignity of every person, we covenant to affirm ways to prevent physical, sexual and emotional abuse, to immediately respond to abuse with professional integrity, as well as to engage in restorative practices with the intent to affirm justice, equity and compassion in all our relations.
