Our accessible sanctuary seats 400 people and our accessible chapel seats 50. The adjoining Parish Room, which is also accessible, is perfect for small or mid-sized receptions. The Griffin Hall, located downstairs next to an industrial kitchen can comfortably seat 150 for an elegant dinner and room for dancing.

Custom Weddings
Like snowflakes, no two love stories are alike; therefore, your wedding should represent the unique love that you and your partner share. Reverend Nate Walker will arrange time to with you to craft a ceremony that specifically represents your love story, your beliefs, and your values. He will help you choose text, readings, and music that authentically symbolize your union. Our Music Director, Jen Hayman is available to play piano or sing during your customized ceremony.
Our Building
Our building, a signature piece by regionally celebrated architect Frank Furness, is a designated historic landmark.
Our Neighborhood
Located in Center City Philadelphia within the Rittenhouse-Fitler Square Historic District, our neighborhood embodies the distinctive architectural diversity of several centuries, and is home to many of the city's finest hotels, shops, and restaurants and accessible via public transportation and located with a few block radius of a dozen parking lots.
Pricing
To rent space in our building, send an email to Business Administrator Norman Fouhy (norman@philauu.org) or call him at (215) 563-3980 x 300. The following rental rates represent prices for a two-hour wedding ceremony, or a six-hour reception:
Reverend Nate charges $500 to craft your custom wedding (20-40 minutes), which includes two sessions for marriage counseling and a wedding rehearsal. He charges $150 for a same-day civil ceremony (10 minutes) with no charge for parties under 6 people to meet in his office. There may be a travel fee for off-site weddings or clothing fee for special dress requests.
