Reverend Nate Walker turns from a sermon intended to be about white privilege to the subject of the polemic nature of our political discourse, of which we are all a part. He examines his own thoughts and actions in relation to the assassination attempt of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords as well as the words Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh. Reverend Nate reflects upon the struggle of playing the middle, of being the bridge, as articulated by poet Donna Kate Rushin.
