Event Description

The love poem. It is arguably the best type of poem (or the worst), depending on who you ask. History is riddled with great literary works that depict the beauty of love, the strength of love, the healing power of love, and the strife of love lost. Join us for an evening of poetry centered around that thing we all feel in our hearts. Bring a poem (written by you or someone else) that celebrates love, defines love, or helped you heal when a love relationship ended. Bring copies of your poem and be prepared to share and discuss. This event will also be a potluck of sweets. Bring along your favorite.
Facilitated by Julia Bernd. This event is part of First Unitarian Church's participation in "30 Days of Love."
