Celebrate the end of 2013 and the coming of the New Year with this reflective service of meditation and poetry. Members of the congregation are encouraged to participate in the service and share haiku or other short poems that they have written or that they find inspirational. Copies of classical as well as contemporary haiku will also be available during the service for those who would like to participate. The service will include periods of silent meditation as well as remarks on the use of haiku as a spiritual practice. The service will be led by Daniel Johnson.
