Based on the assumption that everyone is their own theologian, this popular UU program invites each person to write his or her spiritual odyssey and examines a structure for a liberal theological model, varieties of religious experience, human nature, ultimate reality, history, ethics, and religious meaning.
Participants will be given the opportunity to 1) determine their values and beliefs about God or ultimate reality, human nature, ethics, and the meaning and purpose of life; 2) discover what other UUs believe about the great religious questions; 3) articulate their beliefs in credo statements; and 4) meet the challenge of building their own theology. Facilitated by Ministry Leadership Team chair, Scott Youmans.
