Event Description

Sunday, April 28 and Sunday, June 9, 1–3 PM; pre-registration strongly encouraged

As we deepen our mission to awaken love and justice in our lives and the world, join us after the service for lunch and small breakout sessions designed to build our connections to one another through our commitment to anti-racism. There will be opportunities to reflect in small groups on the following topics: an introduction to white supremacy's universal impact; exploring antidotes to white supremacy culture; POC affinity group; intersectional feminism; processing racialized experiences; and raising race-conscious children and grandchildren. Groups will explore relevant writings and other media and work together to share skills and experiences for combating white supremacy in our daily lives. Lunch provided. Childcare available focused on an activity exploring the values of the Black Lives Matter movement. Sign-up sheets will be available on Sundays, or register online now!
