Event Description

Dear Fellow Members and Friends of First Unitarian Universalist, please join us at the Congregational Meeting on January 26, following the State of the Congregation Address in the service. While there are no votes for the Congregation at this meeting, there are important matters in your church life to discuss. Join members of the Board of Trustees who will discuss:

The recent audit and formation of a 501c3, the state of the Preservation Project and building sustaining capital campaign;
Our current budget outlook (spoiler alert – not gut-wrenching, in fact rather heartening);
Policy governance review by the Board, including a special financial policy review and ongoing monitoring of the Minister and ED split of roles under Phase II of the pilot project begun last Fall; and
Progress made towards filling the role of your Interim Minister.

The Trustees are hoping to have an informative, enlightening and generative discussion, and we will be pleased to answer your questions. Please come with extra snacks for coffee time. We look forward to being in community with you! ~ Karen Wolfe, President, Board of Trustees
