Event Description

Three-time Oscar winning film, Crash, will serve as the text for us to explore issues of race and ethnicity in the United States. The following quote will serve as our starting point for the discussion: “It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something.” Facilitated by Rev. Nate Walker. This film series is one of three films the First Unitarian Church will be offering this fall. All films are free and open to the public.
