Event Description

Self-awareness is a supreme gift, a treasure as precious as life.  This is what makes us human.  But it comes at a cost: an awareness of our own mortality, and that of those nearest and dearest to us. If, like me, you no longer believe in the afterlife, then how do you stay out of existential despair?  In other words, what makes living worthwhile and the thought of dying more palatable?
