"Stories can make you bigger—not on the outside, of course, but on the inside. They can stretch your mind and heart." ~ Mira and the Big Story, by Laura Alary
People are like quilts. Each one of us is made up of a patchwork of stories: rough or soft, light or dark, simple or complex, faded or eye-poppingly bright. The connections and clashes of our various pieces create the patchwork of our lives. And we are constantly adding to our quilts in every moment and experience. So what happens when our individual quilts come together? What opportunities arise when we interact with others, when we share and see our lives as part of a larger story? What kind of quilts can we make in community? Join us for a "Crayola-inclusive" worship that celebrates the power and importance of storytelling. This service will be facilitated by CRE Lead Teacher and Candidate for Unitarian Universalist ministry, Ranwa Hammamy.
