Event Description

Is “Practical Wisdom” an oxymoron? Don't we tend to think of Wisdom as the opposite of Practical? Wisdom is the theoretical, the way of goodness and truth. Whereas, “Practical” is concerned with dealing realistically with everyday activities. Aristotle argued that our everyday social activities demand constantly making the right choices which demands wisdom. Understanding what practical wisdom is, why we need it, and what it requires is not only good for society but something we want to have to flourish.
