First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia ~ Welcome home!

Chestnut Street Singers present Whither, Fairy? Music of Superstition and Belief

Join the Chestnut Street Singers as we explore the dark corners and tempting shadows of superstition and imagination.

Continuing our season of encounters with forces outside ourselves, we turn our focus to the uncanny and inviting supernatural: malevolent spirits, wondrous beasts, and glimmers of other lives.

The concert features works by Josquin des Prez (1445–1521), Maurice Ravel (1875–1937), and Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872–1958).

The concert will be held at the First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia at 2125 Chestnut Street on Sunday, March 10 at 2 PM. Donations accepted.

The Chestnut Street Singers include the church's own Jen Hayman, Michael Johnson, Ken Olin, and Caroline Winschel, along with Christopher Barron, Bimal Desai, Bevin Durant, Ellen Gerdes, Nate Gibney, Ben Guez, Rachel Haimovich, Elissa Kranzler, Rebekah Reddi, Jordan Rock, and Melinda Steffy.
