Inter-religious dialogue and cooperation are essential to our work to achieve a just, compassionate, and peaceful world. In partnership with the New Sanctuary Movement, the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia is focusing this year's "Gateway to Religious Communities" program on congregations that have strong ties to immigrant communities.
On Sunday, March 10th at 10:30am, we will be visiting Germantown Mennonite Church, where we will learn more about the tradition, attend a service, and engage in conversations with members of the community about its work in Philadelphia, particularly as it relates to immigrant rights. This visit is the second installment of the Spring 2013 series, which will continue through June.
