I would like to thank all of those who have been part of organizing and leading our services during our Minister's sabbatical - I have found the topics relevant to our times, thoughtful and thought-provoking.  The choir, the music selection, the other many components of the service have been a joy on many, many levels.  Thanks again to all of you who are involved in this endeavor.

Guides for Furness exhibit Training Session

Dane Wells will be leading a training session for prospective guides for the Furness exhibit - after Service this Sunday - September 30th - in the Sanctuary.  If you have not already signed up, please come to the session if you are interested and then decide if you would like to participate.   I will have packets of materials - cheat sheets so you dont have to remember everything - and at least you will learn more about the wonderful building we are in.  The exhibit boards will be available…


Frank Furness Exhibit at First U

First Unitarian Church has been invited to participate in a city-wide exhibit honoring Frank Furness and his buildings in Philadelphia.  The exhibit has been developed by the Development Working Group and will be on view from October to December - times below.  The exhibit has wonderful photos from our archives and other sources showing the arc of Frank's life - and the arc of the life of our building over the last century.  Do…
