First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia ~ Welcome home!

Register for the 2013 Joseph Priestley District Assembly!

Can't get enough Unitarian Universalism? Want to learn from the ministry of other UU churches so you can help our congregation and denomination grow? Want to meet hundreds of amazing people all wearing chalice necklaces or t-shirts?

Register for the 2013 Joseph Priestley District Assembly today! This annual assembly brings together Unitarian Universalists from across the district (PA, DE, MD, DC, VA) who are interested in learning new ways to live out and grow our religious tradition. Featuring workshops, worship experiences, informational sessions, a bookstore with selections for every reader, and endless opportunities to engage in meaningful conversation, the JPD Assembly is an inspiring experience for all who attend. As if that isn't enough to get you excited, a workshop developed by four of our very own Young Adults (Miles Davison, Renee Di Pietro, Peggy Fulda, and Ranwa Hammamy) will be presented on Saturday!

The theme for this year's assembly is "Expanding Our Ministries, Building Our Future: Growing the Multicultural, Multigenerational Congregation." Join the conversation and learn new ways to ensure the healthy and meaningful growth of our tradition. All sessions will be held at the University of Delaware in Wilmington, DE on April 12-13.

In addition, this year's Keynote speakers are the Rev. Dr. Rob Hardies and the Rev. Dr. Susan Newman from All Souls Unitarian in DC, a congregation known for its celebration of diversity and multicultural ministry.

Learn more about the 2013 JPD Assembly and sign up here. Reduced rates for early registration end March 22nd, so register now!

Hope to see you in Wilmington!
